Manga
Since I was little, I read and watched Japanese animated characters. That without hesitation formed my taste for this culture, to the degree that after many years of life, I continue reading and watching obsessively.
In the eighties Candy Candy, Mazinger Z, and Robotech, and Heidi, among others. Later in the nineties Sailor moon, Ranma 1/2, The Knights of the Zodiac, Dragon ball, and Magic Knight Rayearth. I tell you, countless adventures. These are one of the titles that filled my head the most. But in the 2000s, a new cast of characters came to life, satisfying my thirst for Japanese animation.
And I'll start with this amazing, fun, charming, manga.
Kamisama Kiss is a romantic comedy anime series that follows the story of Nanami Momozono, a high school girl who is left homeless after her father runs away from debt. She meets a man named Mikage who offers to let her stay at his place, which turns out to be a shrine. Nanami then becomes the new land god of the shrine, and she must learn to deal with the responsibilities of her new position, as well as the supernatural creatures that inhabit the shrine. Tomoe, the fox spirit, is one of them.

The relationship between Nanami and Tomoe, is the centre of this show, he is her fox familiar. Tomoe is a powerful and loyal guardian, but he is also very stubborn and hot-headed. His possessiveness and jealousy will make you laugh, and Nanami is a kind and compassionate girl, but she is also strong-willed and determined. The two of them have a very entertaining dynamic, and their relationship is, of course, the main centre of the magnificent show.
The supporting cast of characters really makes Kamisama Kiss great. They all play an important role in the story because of their personality and charm. You will love this, and I assure you the characters will remain in your heart after time. Specially Tomoe's fan.
This is a transgender story. And by this fact alone you will know how entertaining it will be. This time I will tell you about the manga since there is also an anime. In the case of broadcasts, it will always vary from the original story, that's why I always read the manga first, or when it's late, I watched the anime first, but I complement it reading the manga too.
Haruhi is a truly intelligent girl, but a poor one. Thanks to his school grades, he obtains a scholarship to study in one of the most prestigious and expensive schools. That's where he meets a group of students who don't know what to do with their lives and form a club to entertain the ladies. She is forced to collaborate with them due to an unfortunate incident that forces her to do what they want, putting her to work in their club, as a host. The adventures begin there, and I assure you that from the first moment you set eyes on Tamaki, Kioya, Mitzukuni, Takashi, Kaoru, and his twin Hikaru, you will love them forever.
One day, Haruhi, a scholarship student at exclusive Ouran High School, breaks an $80,000 vase that belongs to the "Host Club," a mysterious campus group consisting of six super-rich (and gorgeous) guys. To pay back the damages, she is forced to work for the club, and it's there that she discovers just how wealthy the boys are and how different they are from everybody else.

The story follows Light Yagami, a genius who discovers a mysterious notebook: the “Death Note”, which belonged to the shinigami Ryuk, and grants the user the supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written on its pages.
The series centers around Light's subsequent attempts to use the Death Note to carry out a worldwide massacre of individuals whom he deems immoral and to create a crime-free society. Using the alias of a god-like vigilante named “Kira”, and the subsequent efforts of an elite Japanese police task force, led by enigmatic detective L, to apprehend him.
Who has not dreamed of having the power to make whoever you want, disappear? Well, Light Yagami sure did. The death note was the instrument that he found by chance giving him the power to do so. Shinigami Ryuk (dark monster), is the owner of this note and follows Yagami on his quest to kill those he considers deserving.
The story is described in such detail that your mind is blown away. The intervention of other perfectly well-developed characters enriches this manga to the point of making it an addiction. Light Yagami is one of the hottest characters in the manga industry.
This strange world in which we will be immersed is something that will distract us from our daily life. As an adult, youth, or elders they can read it with ease. This psychological plot will keep you on the edge of your seat, I guarantee it. You will not only find the manga but the animated series, which in my opinion is excellent. I do not recommend the acted film so much though. It does not reach the dialogues both in the manga and in the animation, and the acting won't do.
